Salary: $55–65 k


Supervisory Responsibilities: manage staff and budget maintain sanitary condition



Position Definition:  Perform daily activities of the Dietary department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards.


Essential Duties:

  • Visit residents upon admission, complete initial nutritional assessment, and ensure that all nutrition documentation in medical record is current.
  • Evaluate individual residents’ diets with respect to needs

Inventory and ordering experience

  • Participate in interdisciplinary care conference and other meeting as required.
  • Make rounds at meal time to assess appropriateness of food service presentation and delivery and  recommend changes as indicated.


  • Recommend supplemental foods and nourishments and monitor resident’s response.


  • Reports and refer any High Risk nutritional issues to the Dietitian or Food Services Supervisor via a referral log.


  • Immediately respond for duty during emergency situations.


  • Ensure that established Universal Precautions and infection control, isolation, fire, safety, and sanitation practices and procedures are maintained and followed when performing laundry duties.


  • Promptly report any and all hazardous conditions and equipment to the supervisor and/or Administrator.


  • Participate in departmental projects and studies as needed.


  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.


Minimum Requirements:


  • CDM license


  • A minimum of (5) years of experience in a SNF

Salary: $55–65 k
